


Wacom's Digital Art: Advanced Workshop
Introduction:
This course is great for novices, designers and students who have picked up digital art on their own or through some education but wish to advance and further their understanding and skill sets in the digital art realm. Different methods of art creation from various digital art disciplines will be explored and practiced in this 2 day workshop program. Topics include how to quickly create stunning looking sketches and thumbnails, matte painting techniques and how to over paint and use mixer brushes to painting loosely and learning how to create painterly artworks reminiscent of famous classical artists like Rembrandt and modern concept artists like Craig Mullins. This course comes with a Intuos medium tablet worth $290.
Course Objectives:
Participants will learn how to use the various tools and techniques to create different art outcomes like concept art or painterly styles. Participants will learn and apply the following fundamental concepts for digital art making: How to draw and paint from scratch using brushes provided to create quick and stunning works in short times, How to source photo plates for composition and use production painting methods to make amazing art as well as how to use textures, or brushing methods to photo-bash artworks to increase realism and complexities.
