


Digital Art: Character Design
Introduction:
This course aims to educate the students on the basics of Character Design for the entertainment design world- games, film, comic and so on. Students will learn how to draw, create and polish up their designs by the end of 6 classes.
Course Summary:

Learn Drawing and lineart, and how to use gestures to convey the mood, energy and character early on.

Learn how to research, plan and plot out the character design with creative thought and intent.

Learn how to use the power of Notan, values arranged in a pleasing manner to help design a character and bring it to life with colors later on.

Learn how to render the character with basic light and shadows, and finally polish up with special effects.
Prerequisites:
Interest in arts, gaming, animation and character design.
Basic drawing skill is recommended.
